FRIENDS MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Some people come into our lives and quickly go;
Some people move our souls to dance; they awaken us to new understanding
With the passing whisper of their wisdom;
Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.
Friends share simple, ordinary times in our lives,
Moments that become memories that stay in our hearts forever
... And we will never, ever be the same.
Friendship is a strange thing ...
It is by chance we met, by choice we became friends;
We find ourselves telling each other the deepest details of our lives,
things we don't even share with our families who raised us.
But what is a friend? A confidant? A fellow email junkie?
A shoulder to cry on? An ear to listen? A heart to feel?
A friend is ALL of these things and more;
No matter where we met, I call you "friend":
A word so small ... yet so large in feeling ... a word filled with emotion.

Once the package of friendship has been opened,
It can never be completely closed
>>Always take Extra Care of 3 things in your life:
"TPR"
1.Trust,
2.Promise,
3.Relation.
Bcoz they don't make noise when they are broken!!

Friendship Is Like A Glass.. A Scratch On Anyside Will Reflect On The Other Side Too.
>>So, Always Handle Feelings Carefully, Bcoz The Scratch Cannot Be Removed.

>>T.H.I.N.K. B4 U Speak!
>T=Is It True?
>H=Will It Help?
>I =Is It Inspiring?
>N=Is It Necessary?
>K=Is It Kind?
>>Your Words Will Identify You!!

>>Fizaayein Kehti Hain Pyaar Kar Le,
>>Bahaarein Kehti Hain, Aankhein Chaar Kar Le;
>>Magar Gharwaale Kehte Hain,
>>Abhi Umar Kam Hain, Pehle MBA Pass Kar Le!!!

>>Never Try Alone To Take The Weight Of A Tear That Comes Out Of Your Heart And Falls Through Your Eyes.
>>Always Remember That I'M There To Share!!!

>>Hamein Apne Doston Par Naaz Hain,
>>Wo Dur Hokar Bhi Hamaare Paas Hain;
>>Kuchh Der Pehle Mout Aayi Aur Chali Gayi,
>>Boli Tere Doston Ki Dua Tere Saath Hain!!!

Believe in your Dreams, Believe in yourself.....

Be like a Floral bouquet

Call People by Name. The Sweetest music to anyone's ears is the sound of his/her own name

Be Alert to give service What we do for others counts most in life.................................... .......

If You see someone without a smile, give them one of yours

learn to understand first and to be understood second

Don't understand the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around

Life ends when you stop Dreaming, Hope ends when you stop Believing, Love ends when you stop Caring, Friendship ends when you stop sharing

Every moment, every situation, every issue and every concern has a positive side. Find it and bring it to life

When you find a Dream inside your heart Don't ever let it go For Dreams are the tiny seeds from which Beautiful Tomorrows Grow

Believe in your Dreams, Believe in yourself.....

Positive Approach

Father: I want you to marry a girl of my choice.
Son: "I will choose my own bride!"
Father: "But the girl is Bill Gates's daughter."
Son: "Well, in that case...OK"

Next Day
Father approaches Bill Gates.
Father: "I have a husband for your daughter."
Bill Gates: "But my daughter is too young to marry!"
Father: "But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank."
Bill Gates: "Ah, in that case... OK"

Finally Father goes to see the president of the World Bank.

Father: "I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president. "
President: "But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!"
Father: "But this young man is Bill Gates's son-in-law."
President: "Ah, in that case... OK"

This is how business is done!!

Moral: Even if you have nothing, you can get anything. But your attitude & approach should be positive.

Use... this... in... life

*4 Boy friends*- A Story Read it

*4 Boy friends*

Once upon a time, there was this girl who had four boyfriends.

She loved the 4th boyfriend the most and adored him with rich robes and treated him to the finest of delicacies. She gave him nothing but the best.

She also loved the 3rd boyfriend very much and was always showing him off to neighboring kingdoms. However, she feared that one day he would leave her for another.

She also loved her 2nd boyfriend. He was her confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with her. Whenever this girl faced a problem, she could confide in him, and he would help her get through the difficult times.

The girls 1st boyfriend was a very loyal partner and had made great
contributions in maintaining her wealth and kingdom. However, she did not love the first boyfriend. Although he loved her deeply, she hardly took notice of him.

One day, the girl fell ill and she knew her time was short. She thought of her luxurious life and wondered, I now have four boyfriends with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.'

Thus, she asked the 4th boyfriend, I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?'

'No way!', replied the 4th boyfriend, and he walked away without another word.

His answer cut like a sharp knife right into her heart.

The sad girl then asked the 3rd boyfriend, 'I loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?

'No!', replied the 3rd boyfriend. 'Life is too good! When you die, I'm
going to marry someone else!'

Her heart sank and turned cold.

She then asked the 2nd boyfriend, 'I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me.

When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?'

'I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!', replied the 2nd boyfriend. 'At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.'

His answer struck her like a bolt of lightning, and the girl was devastated.

Then a voice called out: 'I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter
where you go.'

The girl looked up, and there was her 1st boyfriend. He was very skinny as he suffered from malnutrition and neglect.

Greatly grieved, the girl said, 'I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!.

In truth, you have 4 boyfriends in your lives:

Your 4th boyfriend is your body. No matter how much time and effort you lavish in making it look good, it will leave you when you die.

Your 3rd boyfriend is your possessions, status and wealth. When you die, it will all go to others.

Your 2nd boyfriend is your family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for you, the furthest they can stay by you is up to the grave.

And your 1st boyfriend is your Soul. Often neglected in pursuit of
wealth, power and pleasures of the world.

However, your Soul is the only thing that will follow you where ever you go. Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of you that will follow you.

Thought for the day:

Remember, when the world pushes you to your knees, you're in the perfect position to pray.

Pass this on to someone you care about - I just did.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections. I hope this touched you!

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.'/*

'Smile it's contagious!'

have a gr8 weekend & cheers

Life never seems to be the way we want it, but we live it the best way we can. There is  no perfect life, but we can fill it with perfect Moments..

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, or a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

If you have a good name, if you are more often right than you are wrong, if your children respect you, if your grandchildren are glad to see you, if your friends can count on you and you can count on them in time of trouble, if you can face God and say "I have done my best", then you are a success.

The secret of getting ahead is getting started...

You are the one who dressed me up, for my first day at school
When I sobbed, yelled and screamed at you, you didn't say a word
And instead, took me to the stop and finally with great difficulties
When I some how sealed on a seat, you experienced eternal bliss in your heart
When the bus began to move, I looked back at your diminishing figure through window
Today when I' hve grown up to face the world, I have
realised why I did so, do you know why?
Because you were the one, who meant all-in-one
Gurukul,hostel and school for me
You were always there when nobody was around
you never gave me a handkerchief, when I sobbed
like a leaking tap
Instead you sat beside me till my moist eyes dried and all the pain was gone
Then you looked into the broken and depressed me
And said Realise your deeds, before you express what you feel
That's why today I'have grown upto, look at myself before pointing out at
some one.
You were always by my side, when I was wrong
To lead me the path, on which I am, supposed to finally walk
you read for me fairy tales and strories that thought me things till I
became capable enough to pick one from bookshelf
You bandaged me when I hurt, you nursed me when I was sick. But you
asked me to face it when I was hit.
You made me strong when I thought I was weak
As I grew up, you never considdred referring to anything to learn of the changes I went through
You were always aware of my secrets untold and all the
thoughts of my mind
If you still don't know who you are?
Ask the priest and he will tell you, you are God
Ask an orphan on the street and he will tell you you are his need
Ask a daughter or a son and they will tell you
You are mom Yes, the best teacher and love on the earth.

"Apologizing does not mean that you are wrong and the other one is right... It simply means that you value the relationship much more than your ego .."
"Being Kind Is More Important Than Being Right..”

Why Does Love Hurt So Much ?

Love hurts so much because we allow it to hurt. It's human nature. Getting hurt is a part of life. It’s how you handle the hurt or how you allow it to affect you. When two people are in a relationship there are good times and bad times being in a relationship is a great feeling.
Knowing that you have a person that loves you is such a wonderful thing. But sometimes people put too much faith in other people and then when that person doesn't live up to the other persons expectations then there are a huge amount of disappointment and hurt. Why do we allow other people to control our emotions?

A broken heart really is one of the worst feelings in the world. When you find out somebody that you love, somebody that you gave such a huge part of yourself to betray you is indescribable. You feel this pain in the middle of your chest and it literally just aches. It hurts oh so bad! And then the tears and crying set in. opinion you do need to allow yourself to grieve. You need to accept everything that has happened and then you just need to look inside yourself to find the courage and strength needed to move on. This is so much easier said than done. It is a part of life. One thing we have to learn is when one door closes three more usually open.

Everything happens for a reason. You must be strong and simply commit to yourself.

A few of the following quotes bring out the heartaches caused by love in the most striking manner.

If you have it [love], you don't need to have anything else, and if you don't have it, it doesn't matter much what else you have.

All things we go through; the happiness, sadness, pain and heartbreak make us who we are!

"I don't miss him; I miss who I thought he was."

"Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation."
"It is better to have loved and lost than never to have lost at all.
"What man's mind can create, man's character can control."

One does not love a place the less for having suffered in it unless it has all been suffering, nothing but suffering.

If love is so important to have that one doesn't want to lose it, why is it when we find true love we often don't notice it?
When one is in love, one always begins by deceiving oneself, and one always ends by deceiving others.

That is what the world calls a romance.
It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Love is like the truth, sometimes it prevails, sometimes it hurts.

Where there is love, there is pain.

There is only one kind of love, but there are a thousand imitations.
BROKEN HEART==human beings

The Indian way of Marriages

The Indian way of Marriages

Marriages are the biggest form of celebration for any family in India. Indian marriages are known for its grandeur, celebration and naach/gaana. Feasts, shimmering attires, huge guests lists are all part of this big celebration. Marriages in India are not just the union of 2 people but also their families, relatives and friends.

The traditions and customs differ in different regions and states as per religions, languages, social strata and locations. eg. There is difference between a Punjabi wedding and a South Indian Wedding. But even in such diversity, there is a lot of similarity like marriages being a costly affair, the color red being prominent, jewelry on the bride, the banquet of food, and the 'bidhaai' of the bride. We'll take a glance at some of the common aspects in Indian weddings.

Customs and Traditions

In India, there are many different castes, religious and regional differences in the type of marriages conducted. But some of the traditions are common among all the Indians.

Arranged Marriages: In India, family is given a lot of importance and parents have a huge role when it comes to deciding their son's or daughter's wedding. When a girl or a boy reaches a marriageable age, their parents start looking out for prospective or suitable grooms. Though this practise is slowly deteriorating, it is still a widespread practise in many Indian families. There is a 'broker' who plays as the intermediator between two families and if both parties approve, they go ahead with other proceedings.

Wedding Ceremony
The Indian weddings consists of 3 days - pre-wedding day, the main day, post-wedding day. This again varies among different religious and regional practices.

Engagement and Mehendi:The ceremony of mehendi is prevalent more or less in every caste and region. It is celebrated mostly at bride's place where female friends and relatives of the bride gather to put henna on bride's feet and hand. Among the other rituals garland ceremony is the most popular rituals, which is celebrated more or less in every part of the country. On this occasion the bride and the groom garland each other as a sign of mutual acceptance.

Baarat: It is customary for the bride groom to ride a horse to the house of the girl's where the marriage ceremony takes place. The boy's family comes along dancing and loud music played by band of musicians in celebration. The girl's family waits for the arrival of the Baarat and receives the boy's family with sweets, coconut and throwing rice and flowers on their head.

Main Ceremony: On the main wedding day a wedding altar or mandapa is built on the wedding venue within which the marriage is conducted. The rituals, which were performed on that day is totally based on the regional customs and traditions. The ritual of putting sindoor or vermilion powder in the parting of the bride's hair by the groom is the ritual followed mostly in the northern and eastern part of the country. Rituals like kanyadaan, tying of mangal sutra around the bride's neck, saptapadi (seven steps), in which the couple moves seven times together around the fire exchanging the wedding vows takes place. Fire acts as a witness of their marriage. These are some of the common rituals practiced in all the castes.
Bidhai: In India, after a girl is married, the girl bids goodbye to her family and as per tradition, goes to stay in her husband's house. The farewell is quite emotional for the girl's family as it resembles the giving away of their daughter who spend her childhood and days as a young girl and finally leaves home.

The Reception
After the marriage ceremony, there is a reception wherein all relatives and friends gather for the feast and banquet laid for the party. All the elders give their well-wishes to the newly wed couples and wish them happy and prosperous married life. This reception also differs in its practise across the country. But the celebration involves families and well-wishers of the couple and is usually a moment of celebration.

The system of Dowry: This has been a practise since olden times in India and is the only bane in an otherwise, happily celebrated marriage. In India as in some other countries, the girl's family has to give an amount of cash as a price for getting married to the boy. However, this is always a big burden for the girl's family because they have to pay a huge amount as 'Dowry'. Though the giving and taking of Dowry has been legally banned in India. it is still quite rampant especially in the rural areas and many a times, poor people have to face a lot of brunt because of their inability to pay Dowry. Women in general have been victims to violence because of their family's inability to pay the demanded dowry. Many protection rights and campaigns against these acts have now started to stop this practise and women are also becoming aware of their rights. There have been cases where they have refused to pay Dowry and this trend is gradually catching up.

FACE THE SITUATION."" gud one.

Ek din ek kutta jungle main raasta kho gaya .

Tabhi usane dekha ek sher uskii taraf aa raha hai.

Kutte ki saans rookh gayi.. "Aaj to kaam tamaam mera!" usne socha. Phir usne saamane kuchh sookhi haddiyan padi dekhi. Woh aate hue sher ki taraf peeth kar ke baith gaya aur ek sookhi hadii ko choosane laga aur zor zor se bolne laga, "wah! Sher ko khaane ka maza hi kuchh aur hai. Ek aur mil jaaye to poori daawat ho jayegi!"

Aur usne zor se dakaar mara. Is bar sher sakate mein aa gayaa. Usne Socha "ye kutta to sher ka shikar karta hai! Jaan bacha kara bhago!" Aur sher wahan se champat ho gaya .

Ped par baitha ek Bandar yeh sab tamasha dekh raha tha.

Usne socha yeh mauka achha hai sher ko sari kahani bata deta hoon - sher se dosti ho jayegi aur usase zindagi bhar ke liye jaan ka khatra dur ho jayega. Who phataphat sher ke pichhe bhaga.

Can u imagine the quick management by the DOG...

Kutte ne sher ko aate dekha to ek bar phir uskii taraf peeth karke baith gaya aur zor zor se bolne laga, "Is Bandar ko bhej ke 1 ghanta ho gaya , saala ek sher phaans kar nahi la sakta!"

Moral of the story : FACE THE SITUATION
